I really like the options they give on the website when building a computer and the prices are competitive. It made it possible to build the computer I wanted. There were some technical issues with my computer build (a loose wire for one of the ports, an incorrect fan was used, and the build has air flow issues), but customer service was able to work with me to find reasonable solutions to those issues. It took quite a bit of back and forth with customer service (Cezar was very helpful, but Leo was not) to get that assistance, but in the end I did get the help I needed and that’s what’s most important. Regarding billing: Considering how expensive a custom build computer can be (they have builds that start at about $9,000), I found it very odd that they don’t allow you to split the purchase between multiple credit cards. In the end it worked out fine, but I would’ve rather had two credit cards at about 47% usage than one card at 95% usage. The latter hurts your credit score more (even if you pay off the balance immediately), though it the score will eventually go back up after the balance is paid off. I believe they only allow one credit card to be used for security reasons (they match the billing address to the shipping address), but it seems like there must be better ways to handle it. Still, in the end it all worked out. Regarding shipping: Understandably, you must sign for the package containing the PC when it arrives, but that requires you to be home. I would’ve liked the flexibility to schedule the delivery, but UPS told me that the sender (CyberPower) locked the delivery so that it can’t be adjusted. I’m sure customers would appreciate the ability to work with UPS to adjust the delivery date/time, so that they can be home to sign for the package. Regarding how the computer was packaged: The PC tower box was in the middle of the larger box with padding on above and below it with the accessories (mouse, keyboard, etc.) beside it. There was no padding between the very heavy PC tower and the accessories. The package did have a “This side up” note on it, but unsurprisingly since the sides are the narrow part of the box, the UPS driver likely had it on its side in the truck, resulting in the accessory boxes being dented in by the time the package got to me. It was only the boxes that were dented so in my case all the accessories still work, but had the box been on its side for longer there likely would’ve eventually been damage to the accessories. In future, I think CyberPower should keep in mind that UPS will likely put the boxes on their sides for some portion of the journey (even if the box says they shouldn’t), so padding should be placed between the tower box and the accessories to alleviate the potential damage.

I really appreciate the way the website is layed out. I know that there are a LOT of options to have to support and the fact that you allow such granular customization is really attractive for those of us who are a teensy bit picky. What I did not like, however, was that I did not receive all of the documentation and accessories/goodies that came with the products you built my PC with. The internal WiFi 7 antenna on this MSI B850P suuuucks and the fact that I did not receive the external antenna they usually come with meant that I had to lay a Cat-7 cable across my living room floor while I wait for a 3rd party antenna to arrive from amazon. I also cannot figure out how to control these ARGB fans and case lighting; I've tried 3 different softwares so far (MSI Mystic Light, OpenRGB, and SignalRGB. Might be a driver/compatibility issue with this motherboard because I think it's new, but still; having some documentation around that would have been nice.

Why I gave a 4 and not a 5: 1. I have only had the PC for a day, and it is too early to give a 5 star rating. 2. There are a few things you can do better without any cost. (a) On the delivery, initially you said the machine will be shipped on July 8th, and I planned some activities around that date. Then I got an email from UPS stating that it will be delivered on 7/2. Early is not necessarily better. (b) One of the inserts in the package had misleading instructions about PC game pass. It could just be a case of misunderstanding. I am still waiting for a response to a question I filed with Support. This is a minor issue. (c) I seem to be having a problem with wired network connectivity on this PC. I don't have that problem with any other machine on the network. I am going to try that on another network before filing a support request. (d) It would have been nice to print the motherboard model no in the component list so that I can do research on known problems about the motherboard. I love how well you packaged the machine.

I originally ordered on Amazon and the rig I received had a faulty video card -- it booted and appeared stable until you tried to game and would get a screen full of artifacts before crashing 20-30 seconds into program launch. Support was very helpful in understanding the troubleshooting steps I already completed, but Amazon was helpless when it came to RMAing the card -- they had no way to RMA just the card and could only refund 30% of the purchase price which only covered 50% of the value of the GPU. I ended up having to return the entire rig. After this experience I just ordered directly. I realized that if I had ordered directly I could just RMA the card, and could have a better experience overall -- I don't expect everything in a new rig to work perfectly, I've built my own and am very familiar with diagnosing hardware failures and dealing with the RMA process. What I do wish is if this Amazon policy was made much more obvious and clearer on the Amazon listing. I would never have ordered it via Amazon if I knew the hell I'd encounter from a support perspective. Additionally the rig I ended up purchasing directly was about $400 more than the rig I had found on Amazon for relatively similar specs because the exact same rig was not available direct -- only via Amazon. That felt shitty -- I sucked it up and ate the cost, but it was disconcerting that there was no price/item match on a CyberPower rig on Amazon offered directly by CyberPower. That felt like bait and switch. For my next $2000+ rig, I expect to find a different system builder. One that does not have Amazon only deals that I cannot buy direct, and that realizes that a customer returning a faulty product and ordering direct should be a relationship worth improving to maintain for the long term rather than just capture an extra 20% on price in addition to the improved margin of ordering direct rather than via Amazon. My suggestion is that when your tech support had confirmed I had an issue and had ordered from Amazon, to immediately offer the ability to purchase the same rig at the same price directly. Amazon is not able to RMA a part, and their partial refund policy cannot cover a graphics card or any part exceeding 30% of the cost of the rig. If I felt that Cyberpower was focused on just giving me the product I wanted at the price it was offered at on another platform, I would respect your approach to customers from a sales perspective. Instead I see you as chiseling.

This is my first PC, and I know from another website that your site makes it easier to customize the PC. I did receive my PC on time. Unfortunately, there was damage to the GPU, and I ended up shipping the GPU back for a replacement. Customer service and tech support were able to figure out the issue quickly and get a replacement. I'm pleased with my order and would order again from CyberpowerPC. I'm looking forward to trying out the PC once the GPU is back and installed.

It would be convenient if, during checkout, the web-store asked the customer: a) do you want to have a signature requirement on the shipment of your computer? b) would you like to be able to re-direct this shipment to a nearby UPS store? I've purchased two computer from CyberPower in as many months, and in both cases, there was a signature requirement, with no ability to re-direct the package to a nearby UPS store. In both cases, I had to cancel all appointments and stay home all day. In both cases, the computer arrived at the very end of the day (~7pm). All of this, despite the fact that (in both cases), I paid for overnight shipping. Don't get me wrong; both computers are very nice and there have been no issues with the computers themselves. I'd just like the option to be able to have some control during the shipping process (so that I don't lose control of my own daily schedule).

Everything was mostly good, but the only problem I had was that when my product arrived, the box was open. I was concerned about damages, but luckily, there was none. I don't know if the box was intentionally opened for me, but I would prefer to see it sealed shut for me to open myself. Other than that, it was great, and I'm really happy with it!

My System was put together fairly fast and with good cable management. However, the system was NOT tested for stability. The Motherboard paired with my RAM was inherently unstable due to the motherboards XMP (RAM Overclock) option being enable by default. My motherboard did not support XMP for my specific RAM and caused BSOD(s) (Memory Management stop code) under HIGH RAM utilization. I resolved the issue by updating the motherboards BIOS which then included a XMP profile for my RAM which fixed the issue. Running some sort of QC burn in on the system before selling it should have been standard, but was not in my instance.
